One of the greatest things about living in Lake in the Hills, IL are the 4 lakes located here. Here, many of our residents enjoy boating, swimming, and fishing. In Lake in the Hills, there is no shortage of amazing local amenities and interesting things to do.

Woods Creek Lake is the largest of the four lakes. It’s 50 acres of land/water. There’s also Goose Lake and Woods Creek Lake, which are great spots for fishing. They are stocked seasonally with perch, walleye, sunfish, and catfish. Willow Lake and Lake Scott, are the smallest of the lakes.

Woods Creek Lake offers 2 beaches, one on either side of the lake:

The village is divided into 14 neighborhoods: Princeton Crossing, Cunat Court, Boulder Ridge, Big Sky, Harvest Gate, Spring Lake Farm North, Spring Lake Farm South, Bellchase, Summer Glen, Provence, Heron Bay, Meadowbrook, Cheswick Place, and Fox Ridge Farm.
